Pricing questions
What exactly is free?
Tables 1×, 2× and 3× — for everyone, forever, with no account and no card. Children can play at /playnow straight away. Without an account their progress resets each session; a Family Pack or a school plan makes it stick and unlocks tables 4× to 12×.
Why is my price different at checkout?
Two reasons. Prices here are in US dollars, and payments run through Paddle, which charges you in your own currency — so a UK family sees pounds and an Australian school sees Australian dollars. Once your own currency is showing, the figure includes local tax — it is the total you pay, not a price with more to come. The tax line beneath it names the amount. If you are a school with a valid VAT or GST number, entering it at checkout removes that tax entirely, so your total comes out lower. Nothing is charged until you confirm it.
Is the Family Pack really one payment?
Yes. One payment, forever access, up to 5 children. No subscription, no annual renewal, no in-app purchases. Add children at any time from the Manage page at no extra cost.
Do school plans charge per pupil?
No. Every school plan is one flat annual price — there is no per-seat or per-pupil charge. The pupil numbers in the table are generous ceilings, not meters; archiving a pupil who has left frees their place, and their codes and progress are kept.
Do students or parents pay anything at school?
Never. A school plan covers every pupil in it. Students sign in with a code and pay nothing, ever.
Can I move up a plan mid-year?
Yes, any time. Upgrades are prorated — you're credited for the unused part of your current plan and only pay the difference. Plans aren't downgraded mid-term, and sign-in codes are never regenerated.
What if I change my mind?
Every paid plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee — ask us within 30 days of your purchase and we refund in full, no reason needed. After 30 days there's no refund, but you keep full access until the end of the year you've paid for, and you can cancel any time to stop the next renewal. Note that cancelling and asking for a refund are separate things: if you're inside 30 days and want your money back, tell us. Schools that paid by invoice get the same 30 days — we arrange the transfer back by hand rather than reversing a card. Duplicate or mistaken charges are always refunded, any time.
